Executive Conference Space
Techkinect partnered with the City of Monroe to upgrade their executive conference room into a modern, high-performance collaboration space designed for daily meetings, presentations, and hybrid conferencing. The objective was to replace outdated AV components with a fully integrated system that delivers reliability, simplicity, and professional-grade performance.
The existing environment presented several challenges, including inconsistent AV functionality, lack of centralized control, and poor audio performance. The room itself featured an open ceiling, brick walls, a large glass door, and hard flooring—all of which contributed to excessive echo and poor speech intelligibility during meetings.
To solve this, Techkinect engineered a complete AV upgrade that unified video, audio, control, and conferencing into a single streamlined system. An 85” commercial display and integrated AV switching platform allow seamless presentation from wireless, HDMI, and USB-connected devices without interrupting meeting flow.
For audio, we implemented a beamforming ceiling microphone array with DSP processing and a distributed speaker system to ensure consistent voice pickup and reinforcement across the room. To address the acoustic challenges, we installed acoustic ceiling panels throughout the space, significantly reducing echo and reverberation. This improvement dramatically enhanced speech clarity for both in-room participants and remote attendees.
A PTZ camera system enables high-quality video conferencing, while a custom Atlona Velocity control system with a 10” touchscreen provides intuitive, one-touch control of all room functions—including AV, audio, and lighting—eliminating user confusion and setup delays.
The system is supported by a centralized rack with power conditioning and network integration, ensuring long-term reliability and simplified maintenance.
